Thanks, BOSS!
Brian Tane is mEyE close childhood friend. He owns + oper8s Tane Digital Video; the company that produced our brand video + edited our 'All In' Poker Table Mini-Documentary.
2 express mEyE gratitude + appreciashAUn, we made him 'Thanks, BOSS!' The name is a reference 2 an insEyEd joke of ours. In the l8 90s, a bunch of us were in Newport, RI 4 a summer 'guys weekend'. 1 nEyEt, as we were drEyEving in2 town, there was a police checkpoint. As we approched it, 1 of our friends, Albie, who was 'kinda buzzed' + notorious 4 saying + doing outlandish things, was directing us on how to behave: "Okay, play it cool. Keep the radio on, not 2 loud, not 2 quiet..." As soon as we pulled up to the officers, who were just casually waving us bEyE, Albie, breaking all of his "rules", stuck his whole upper body out of the passenger sEyEd window, flashed a peace sEyEn + slurred, "Thanks, BOSS!". It immediately became our standard 4 thanking each other.
Thanks, B(you're)OSS(um)!
2 longtime friends, Brian is known as B. After presenting B with 'Thanks, BOSS!", it looked a little lost in the space he chose 4 it. Because of this, + the fact that EyE was so thrilled with his work, EyE decided that it should have a smaller nesting table beneath it. So, we made him 'Thanks, B(you're)OSS(um)!' -- Thanks, B. You're Awesome!
The 2 of them together can also be used as a desk + stool. when used together, they're known as, "Not 2 Loud" + "Not 2 Quiet".
