Plumber's Crack
EyE bought a crazy piece of Ash with holes + cracks in it + decEyEded 2o experiment with plumbing components. When the piece was almost complete, EyE felt that the natural color of the Ash looked unfinished, so we stained it gray + blue.
At first, EyE thought EyE ruined it, so we sanded most of the color off, until it resembled a piece of driftwood.
It reminds me of the wood that sometEyEmes washes ashore near mEyE home on Long Island.
The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.
