It's all in the name.
Next has one E.
Better has two.
Self has one.

Es tucked inside of Es, which is the whole idea. Life is an infinitE and EtErnal procEss.

This graphic is made of two Es, facing one another, looking into a mirror of reflection. They're the beginning and ending of three words, a series of growth:

Emerge, look up.
Engage, look out.
Evolve, look in.

Emerge is to look up from our device, to exit the digital fog and enter the real world.

Engage means to participate. Because there's a difference between hearing an idea and living it. We can understand something philosophically, where it makes sense to us. But to truly know it, we have to experience it. That's when philosophical understanding becomes participatory knowledge. When an abstract idea transforms from someone else's philosophy into a part of us, our own deeper understanding.

But we can't get there as a spectator watching from the sidelines. That's just doomscrolling in another form. We have to get in it and live our real life, in real life.

And to evolve, we have to evaluate, honestly, where we are. We have to face each challenge, sit in the struggle, process it, accept it. That's how we grow.

The two flanking Es represent the words that carry the whole idea: Experience on one side. Enlightenment on the other. Energy running through all of it.

Here's the part I didn't plan. When I initially created the graphic, I wasn't trying to hide anything. I discovered it later. Stacked within the interior letters, the word ego was sitting there. It was this philosophy proving itself. By keeping our eyes open, by being genuine, we discover things we could never have planned. We don't have to map everything out in advance. Deeper meanings reveal themselves on our journey.

After this discovery, I added a dual-headed phoenix rising, shaped like an infinity sign. Because we evolve by facing challenges, sitting in the fire and emerging like the phoenix.

And the process is continual. There's no final version, no best self we arrive at. We emerge through a struggle with confidence, optimizing that version of our self. We feel good. And then, life hands us the next challenge, and only by going through it do we reach the next level.

The ego wants to lock in and say this is who I am. But the self is an infinite discovery. There's no permanent version of our self. There's always our nExt.bEttEr.sElf.
