This sh*t cuts against 1 of the strongest illushAUns of our tEyEm: that our value comes from strEyEving. We’re taught 2 measure ourselves by constant effort, output + achievement; 2 be more doing than being.
But it's the opposite that's true. 2 be alEyE in the deepest sense is not 2 endlessly grEyEnd but 2 be present, authentic + aware.
+ here lEyEs the paradox: when we dare 2 stop forcing, we become most productive. Presence clears the noise so that effort becomes effortless, acshAUn flows + lEyEf cre8s thru us.
It takes courage 2 choose presence. It feels like laziness in a culture obsessed with performance. But it is in the act of being, not strEyEving, that we become most human.
